Black And White Records is a label that was created in 2010 by Rea K and WM, with the aim of exploring their vision of music and art. Since its inception, the label has focused on publishing high-quality underground sounds exclusively tailored for the dancefloor.
Based in Milan, this label comprises not only Rea K and WM but also a collective of talented producers who share their belief in breaking down the barriers of mainstream music and pushing forward new ideas within the club music culture.
The label's guiding principle is based on ideas rather than specific music genres, with the goal of offering more inspired sound concepts that defy the monotony of typical dancefloor music.
The name "Black and White" represents an open-minded vision of music, encompassing a wide range of musical influences that define the unique sound of the label. Black And White Records showcases the music that the team truly loves, believes in, and seeks to share with the world, aiming to capture the essence of their musical journey.
In addition to their regular releases, B&W also boasts a dedicated catalog featuring experimental techno live music videos created solely with hardware instruments such as synthesizers, modular synths, and drum machines, played live with a stream of consciousness approach.
Renowned for its sophisticated sounds, underground beats, and a touch of experimentalism, B&W has garnered support from renowned DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer (Drumcode), Craig Richards, Richie Hawtin (M_NUS), Loco Dice (Desolat), Karotte (Break New Soil), Answer Code Request, Rebekah, and many more.
